How long have you attended Faith Christian Church?

In a few sentences share how you became a Christian.

I was involved in a car accident where I totalled my car. I walked away with a bruise on my chest from the seat belt and a scratch on my forehead from the airbag hitting my glasses. I was an emotional wreck before the accident and the accident opened my eyes.
 

In what ways has Faith Christian Church brought value to your life?

I was a single mother of two when I first started attending Faith Christian. I had very low self worth and struggled emotionally to make it day by day. I didn't grow up in a Christian home. My father was an alcoholic and my mother worked three jobs to support us. I grew up freeling alone. The very moment I walked in to the church, all three of us were welcomed with open arms and I quickly learned I was valuable and I wasn't alone.
 

What do you enjoy most about coming to church?

That it's a place I can bring my entire family to and we all can have a personal relationship. I love hearing my children's excitement as they learn about Jesus Christ.
 

What are you most excited for as we look ahead to what God is doing in our communities?

To know that others don't need to go through what I did. Faith Christian Church cares about the community enough to reach out to them no matter where they are in life.
 

What is your favorite Bible verse and why?

Matthew 6:34
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own

I use to worry so much about the future that I was forgetting the present. This verse reminds me to enjoy the present and not to worry about what tomorrow brings because God will provide.
