Pastoring is an amazing call, full of great joys and significant moments in people’s lives: officiating weddings, baptisms and child dedications, presiding over funerals, praying for the sick, seeing first-hand how lives are changed for Christ plus more.

The scripture that Pastor Appreciation is based on is from Paul’s words to Timothy: “The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor especially those whose work is preaching and teaching” (1 Timothy 5:17).

October is a time that has historically set aside for a formal recognition of Pastors. Here at FCC we will be recognizing and praying for our Pastors during the morning Services on Sunday, October 25 as well as receiving an offering for them.

Please remember to keep our Pastors in prayer on a regular basis and if possible, consider reaching out to them in some meaningful way.
